The Tatitlek Corporation receives highest ever Alaska Business Monthly Top 49er Ranking

The Tatitlek Corporation was ranked #27 in Alaska Business Monthly’s Top 49er listing of the top revenue grossing Alaskan-owned businesses.

Increasing five spots from last year’s #32 ranking, The Tatitlek Corporation saw a 24% increase in revenue from 2011. This year marks the sixth year in a row of The Tatitlek Corporation’s ranking on the coveted Top 49er list.

Awards were presented Oct. 3, 2012 at the Dena’ina Center Top 49er luncheon. President and CEO Roy Totemoff and Chairman of the Board Lloyd Allen attended the event with Tatitlek employees and proudly accepted Tatitlek’s placement award plaque.

Through the corporate office and multiple subsidiaries, The Tatitlek Corporation employs over 100 individuals in Alaska and over 1,500 worldwide. Principal lines of business include military training support, foreign culture and language training, logistics services, simulations systems, construction facilities and equipment maintenance, installation support services and information technology.

Of the 49 companies recognized, 20 were Alaska Native Corporations. “Alaska Native Corporations are the mother lode of Alaskan-owned and operated businesses. ANC Interests are spread across nearly all economic sectors in Alaska and the companies offer a business model for success diversification,” says Alaska Business Monthly Managing Editor, Susan Harrington.
